What this site is for
Domain Registrar UK helps UK charities, non-profits, clubs and community groups manage their .uk and .org.uk domain names safely: who should hold the domain, how renewals and expiry work, how to spot fake renewal notices, how transfers work, and a simple security checklist for trustees. Despite the name, this site is not a registrar and does not sell domains.
Our interest, stated plainly
We run Zoib, which sells websites and web hosting to UK businesses. That means we have a commercial interest in this subject. To keep this guide useful anyway:

- We don’t publish prices, statistics, rankings or testimonials we can’t source. Where we quote a figure, we name the source and the date we checked it.

How we write and check these guides
Guides are written by the Zoib editorial team and checked against primary sources such as GOV.UK, legislation.gov.uk, the ICO, the CMA, Nominet and providers’ own help pages. Each page shows the date it was last reviewed and lists its sources. Nothing here is legal advice. If you spot a mistake, email info@zoib.com and we’ll correct it.
